EU Projekt Think Tank Engagement on Green Global Governance

Many communication hurdles arise because the same terms are used, but the other party understands something different by the same term. This activity is intended to create a specialized glossary in English and Chinese, on the basis of which all participants assume the same knowledge. Once the glossary has been published, it will also be made available to authorities, ministries and decision-makers (print and digital versions), so that they also have a better mutual understanding in dialogs. The process of creating the glossary will result in a scientific article that will be published in a scientific journal.

The regularly held online round tables and networking meetings will define and discuss the project idea and goal and will be held before and after each delegation visit. They will also prepare and follow-up the in-person-exchange meetings in China and the EU for the participants from think tanks and academic institutions. Additionally, it will cater to sustain the network and facilitate the agenda setting. These meetings provide a platform to discuss actual topics of the project and the related field of research. The moderation is carried out by the program manager or an HSF representative.
